This Privacy Policy describes how Proceduralist ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use the Proceduralist iOS application. The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data.
None. The App does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, identifiers, location data, health data, or any other information about you or your device. The App does not require an account, login, or registration of any kind.
Certain features of the App store information locally on your device only, including:
This information never leaves your device. We have no access to it, it is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is deleted when you delete the App. If you use device backups (such as iCloud Backup), this local data may be included in your backup under Apple's terms and your iCloud settings, which are controlled by you and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App is not designed to collect, store, or transmit patient information, and you should not enter patient-identifying information into the App. The App is a reference and educational tool and is not intended to function as a medical record. Portfolio entries are intended to describe your own training experience, not individual patients.
The App contains no analytics frameworks, advertising frameworks, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs that collect data. The App does not track you across apps or websites, and it does not display advertising.
All reference content, instructional materials, and videos are bundled within the App and are available offline. The App does not make network requests to our servers — we don't operate any. The only network activity occurs if you choose to open an external link (such as emailing support), which is handled by your device's apps and governed by their respective policies.
If you download the App through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect certain information (such as crash reports or aggregate download statistics) in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy and your device settings. We do not control this collection and may only receive anonymized, aggregate statistics from Apple.
If you voluntarily contact us at proceduralist@proceduralist.io, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your contact information with anyone.
The App is intended for healthcare professionals and trainees and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.
Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or delete. All locally stored data is under your direct control and can be removed at any time by deleting it within the App or deleting the App itself.
If our data practices ever change — for example, if a future version of the App introduces an optional feature involving data collection — we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
